Celebrating and preserving the talents of Staten Island's illustrious bowlers, while also fostering interest in bowling in the island's youth.
Founded in 2000, the Staten Island Bowling Hall of Fame is the premiere destination for all bowling in Staten Island. Throughout the years, the Staten Island Bowling Hall of Fame committee has supported local bowling across the island, including league play, tournaments, and youth competition.
On top of promoting the sport, the Staten Island Bowling Hall of Fame also showcases the year's top bowlers in a variety of categories. Nominations are accepted all year round and announced ahead of our annual Induction Dinner, which typically takes place in November.
If you would like to nominate someone for consideration, please fill out this form.
Every year, the SIBHoF aggregates all of the information we have received about the year's nominated bowlers (including tournament scores, awards won, PBA membership, etc). A thorough round-table discussion will determine the bowlers that we select to enter the Hall of Fame that year.
The great sport of bowling could not thrive with just the bowlers, There are countless individuals who work hard every day to ensure that the integrity of the game is upheld. Previously inducted individuals have included the coaches of high school bowling squads, junior bowling leagues, and founders of leagues and tournaments.
There are many other honors at each year's Induction Dinner, including:
